language

erm,since this is my blog and i do have the right to say whatever my opinion is,and my point of views.so,i was puzzled when i heard about the language of certain families speak in their houses and homes.so,as for me,both of my parents are from terengganu and i was born overseas.so,what do you think the language that i use to speak at home?and the answer is none other than the thick terengganu accent that i have until now.

some are from kl and they'd prefer to speak english since they thought bm is a low standard language.and others who live in kl for so long(eventhough they are from terengganu,kedah,penang,kelantan)would prefer to speak the bm luar or also known as just the normal accent in which,us malays speak in kl.why?malu ke?that is weird isnt it?

just like my parents said,why speak other accent if you are from that particular country.even so,my parents were graduated from usa,and still their main language is bm and the accent that they posses.so,my siblings and i,were taught to use the very accent that we have eversince were little.and english was just the second language.

so,how'd i improve my english.read and speak(the key to improve) with friends and teachers.eversince i was 10,i started reading r.l.stine's books and it goes on until now.i never got bored with them.and my best friend was an indian girl when i was 9 and 10.and was also my close friend when i was in standard 6.yes,i have lot of chinese and indian friends.

so,the best medium to speak with them is english.and my tuition gang when i was in form 3 are chinese.7 of them and i was the only malay.haha.and frankly,they are different from the malay friends.chinese are very hardworking and always on the top.leaving the malays behind.so,i was trying to follow them and be like them.

sad to say,during tuition classes,my malay friends sat at the back rows.the chinese?occupy the front seats.to be frank,these are the lazy and foolish malays.they do not have the determination and effort to improve themselves.they sit back relax and enjoy what they have.and soon,they'd gotten into the bottom classes due to their bad results.

who should we put the blame on?its you,yourself,then. :)
